At Cat Pumps we are constantly looking at design improvements, enhanced manufacturing methods and better materials to further increase the performance envelope of our pump range. One result of our continuous development programme is the Model 1560 pump.

This compact pump unit is capable of delivering flow rates up to 30 litres/min at pressures up to 275 bar. Before its introduction equipment manufacturers and end users would have needed to purchase a much larger and more expensive pump to access these levels of performance.

The Model 1560 was originally developed for high-specification mobile plant and fixed pressure cleaning installations, but is range of applications does not stop there. It can also be used for drain jetting, pressure testing, machine tool coolants, removing adhesive labels and any application that requires a smooth flow, high pressure, excellent durability and long life.

Like all our pumps, the Model 1560 is built to the highest quality standards, having forged brass manifolds for strength and corrosion resistance and a die-cast aluminium crank case, which contributes to the pump’s light weight (27.2 kg) and precision tolerance control. External leakage is prevented by the inclusion of lubricated low-pressure seals and the close tolerance concentricity of the high density polished ceramic plungers maximises seal life.

Currently in stock in the UK, the Model 1560 can also be supplied as a skid package or complete system with drive motor, base, valves etc. from our extensive range of installation accessories.
